~ TINY GREEN COTTON NOTECARDS - 2 SHADES ~
These pretty little babies were some of the first ultra teeny papers I made. They are A7 (2.9" by 4.1") and come in two shades, one a delicious mint and the other a slightly deeper pastel spring green.
~ key details ~
Material: Cotton/cellulose blend
Recycled: no
Colour: two shades of green, light mint and light spring
Shape/size: Rectangle, A7
Weight: approx 180gsm on average, some sheets are thicker are some are thinner
Texture: mid grain tooth, slightly smoother on one side
Edge: a more subtle less fluffy deckled edge, typical of smaller hand pulled sheets
Additives: Light internal size
Limited run: yes - limited colour run
~ media and behaviour ~
Pencil: good, takes graphite lovely with good gradiation
Coloured pencil: nice, fibres hold coloured pencil well
Pen: pen gives nice clean lines, little to no feathering
Watercolour: takes watercolour, but not best suited - soaks through to other side
Acrylic marker: goes down smooth, no feathering
Other notes: this paper is not heavily sized and so watercolour soaks in almost instantly and does go through to the other side of the sheet
~ notes on handmade paper weight ~
Handmade paper is exactly what it sounds like: completely handmade. I make my handmade paper myself, using a mould and deckle to pull individual sheets from a big plastic box full of water and pulp. As such, paper weight will vary between batches and within a batch! I do my best to keep things consistent but I'm only human, and it's part of the beauty of handmade that it's not completely uniform.
If you want a specific type of paper in a specific weight, please do get in touch and I'm sure I can pull a custom batch for you. :) My paper, like my paints for the most part, are made to order, so adjustments can be made with enough notice.
~ shipping details ~
I ship my paper within biodegradable cello bags, inside of board back envelopes to keep them flat during delivery. Larger orders may be sent in shallow boxes. Larger papers may be sent rolled in tubes. All packaging is able to be recycled or composted.
